At the Emory University Planetarium Math & Science Building Sunday April 15, 2007 Show starts at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. Ticket costs $15 and includes wine reception between the shows The Emory Planetarium will take you back to the time when the Scandinavian Vikings roamed the world. Enjoy the planetarium show with music performed by Krona, and learn more about how it was to be a Viking using the stars to navigate the seas. The Planetarium is located at 301E in the Math & Science Building, 400 Dowman Drive, Atlanta, GA 30322. Parking is available in the Jones Visitors Lot, which is next door. $15 Non-refundable tickets are available for both shows from the Swedish American Chamber of Commerce Atlanta, SACC-Atlanta. Krona is the musical duo consisting of Dennis Carlson, lyricist, and Jason Goodman, tunesmith. They combine their original compositions in folk expressions with introspective messages. The Planetarium provides an ideal setting for their music both acoustically and in terms of the content of their songs. Examples of their song titles include, “Your Star Is Shining Brightly Tonight”, “Love Is Love” and “I Should Be Acceptable”. The Planetarium setting for Krona was suggested by Dr. Richard Williamon, Director of the Emory Planetarium, who has previously offered programs dealing with the use of stars by the Vikings in navigating the seas.
