South Sweden is one of the leading regions in the world in the area of biomass for heating in housing and industry from small pellets for one-family houses. The region is well advanced on skills and technology for gasification of biomass for biofuels.

Mr. Gulliksson is visiting Atlanta to research possible cooperation between Swedish and American actors interested in biomass. SACC-Atlanta's Bioenergy committee is organizing a visitation program to facilitate and promote the exchange of technology and business opportunities between South Sweden and Georgia.
