AeA High Tech Day at the Capitol

The Georgia Technology Leadership Coalition is pleased to announce the 9th Annual High Tech Day at the Capitol on February 13, 2008.

The purpose of High Tech Day at the Capital is to demonstrate to Georgia Legislators, Governor Perdue and other state elected and appointed officials the important role high-tech companies play in the state's economy and its future.  It is a great sales opportunity for your company to demonstrate your products and services to both public officials and leaders of the technology community. There are several unique opportunities for tech companies to gain important exposure in this forum and to talk with public officials.

MEETINGS WITH STATE LEADERS
As a sponsor you will be invited to meetings with leaders who will influence the future of technology companies, last year's speakers included: Georgia Lieutenant Governor Casey Cagle, Secretary of State Karen Handel and Patrick Moore, Director of the Georgia Technology Authority.  This year's speakers TBA shortly!  Gold Level Sponsorship also includes the Invitation-Only dinner on Tuesday, February 12th with the House and Senate Science and Technology Committee members.

RECEPTION
After the General Assembly adjourns for the day, the Technology Leadership Coalition will host an invitation-only reception at the Georgia Depot for CEOs and select senior executives of technology companies and elected officials.  This will be your opportunity to network with lawmakers and to personalize the contributions tech companies are making here in Georgia.

ANNUAL TECHNOLOGY POLICY LEADERSHIP AWARDS
The introduction of the Technology Policy Leadership Awards is one of the highlights of High Tech Day.  These awards recognize leadership on issues that affect the technology industry.
