SACC-Atlanta becomes SACC-Georgia
Since the launch of Project Advantage Georgia two years ago, SACC-Atlanta has focused on facilitating trade missions between Sweden and Georgia to stimulate economic growth. This has expanded to include more areas of Georgia than only greater Atlanta. As a result of the expansion of the organization, SACC-Atlanta will be changing its name to SACC-Georgia, effectively January 1, 2008. Please join us in Savannah on January 24 to celebrate the expansion of our organization and meet our partners that will help us organize the Entrepreneurial Days in Savannah 2009.

Business Matchmaking – AeA and SACC Have the Key to New Business Relations
AeA is a nationwide non-profit trade association that represents all segments of the technology industry. AeA provides business opportunities and access to capital to member companies of different sizes. In January 2007, AeA started a strategic partnership with SACC Atlanta in an effort to develop “business matchmaking” between Sweden and the U.S. as their primary goal. This has already given positive results.

Swedish Crawfish Party 2007 at IKEA Atlanta
The two organizers SACC-Atlanta and SWEA Atlanta were thrilled that 130 guests attended the party at IKEA on September 7th. Festive crawfish decorations turned the IKEA restaurant into a genuine Swedish party setting with drinking-songs, crawfish, meatballs and snaps as part of it. Special thanks to IKEA, DSV and Delta for their generosity and to everyone who made this evening memorable. Plans are already being made for next year’s crawfish party at IKEA.
